Students had their first cooking lesson today. They made strawberry dip and really enjoyed it

Students in Mrs. Helton's class played a fun game to review parts of speech.

Happy Labor Day Weekend from Parsons USD 503! Reminder: No school Monday.

Varsity Tennis today at Forest Park has been postponed until Wednesday 9/3/25.
The horticulture class was busy today cleaning out the flower beds in front of the school. The weather was perfect!

We welcome everyone in our beautiful high school library even when a few senior girls stop by with adorable puppies.

The tech department ensured all USD 503 students had their computers/devices by the second day of school, and all PHS students received new Chromebook replacements this year. This helps all PHS students have the ability to research and write on topics, such as in Mr. Pommier's class, which is currently delving into World War II and what lead to the development and use of nuclear weapons.
When it comes to music, John Wooden's statement, "The importance of repetition until automaticity cannot be overstated", never holds more true, therefore practice in orchestra is done daily, preferably at school and at home, so come concert time, students should know it.
JV Tennis cancelled for today (8/25/25)

USD 503 is only three days in and Parsons students are already throwing paper airplanes in class. But of course it's Mr. Duroni's physic students who are into studying lift and drag in aerodynamics and documenting their results with the scientific method. Students divided into groups creating multiple paper airplanes, each different in its design of wings, flaps, vertical stabilizers and/or rudders (if any). Each plane was then put through three test flights.

Shea Clark adds the finishing touches to the fun, colorful, painting she created for her senior parking spot at Parsons High School, carrying on this long-time senior tradition. Drivers are asked to be watchful as seniors will be at work on their spots over the next two weeks.
Please welcome to PHS a new friendly face at the front desk, financial clerk Michelle Johnson. The mother of 3, Chantel, Kimberlee & Tanner, and nana to 2, Stella & Weston, has lived in Parsons for 6 years. She was previously employed with Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg.
