Physics students studying simple machines used a pulley system to change the direction of applied forces and lift heavy objects, and compared the advantages of using one pulley to a multiple-pulley system. Students then calculated the ideal mechanical advantage (IMA).
Tonight the Vikings will host the Chanute Blue Comets in basketball.
