Parsons High School JAG-K students volunteered their Friday morning to set up tables and chairs and decorate the VFW for Southeast Kansas Independent Living's Christmas party. Jobs for Americas Graduates - Kansas is designed to help students prepare for a successful future.

KSN news reporter Da'Yon Dunlap stopped by Larrian Kendricks' media class today to talk to students about his profession.. He discussed college, the challenges of working in broadcast journalism, what he enjoys most, and answered students' questions.

Chris Ball repairs a piece of equipment in the wood shop as his construction classes are set to begin the day.

Duroni's physic students prepared for trebuchet wars today. Trebuchet is a type of catapult that uses a counterweight to create force to fling an object from a sling at the end of a pole. Each team had to calculate distance and force needed to knock down the other team's cups.

PHS Key Club raised funds for Giving Tuesday by hosting a Penny War.
Club members attended the event and decided how to distribute their donations among the various local charities and organizations.

English 10 students in Mr. Payne's class completed cultural awareness projects in which they read about a culture different than their own and then created art to represent the story. Lots of talent! Go Vikes!!
