The Forensics team competed in the South Kansas NSDA National Qualifying tournament in Coffeyville.
The team of Rayce Baker and Olivia Martinez finished 2nd in Duo qualifying for Nationals, they also finished second in their individual events but will compete in Duo Louisville this summer. Chloe Pontious finished 3rd in POI, and 3rd in OO, she will compete in OO at Nationals. Antonio Aita finished 6th in OO, Carollyn Chapman finished 5th in DI, Andrea Chapman and McKia Lawrence finished 6th in Duo. Jayce Quirin and Madelyn Armitage were named to represent our district in World schools debate at Nationals. The team also received the leading chapter award. This would be a great finish to the best year in Parsons debate/forensics but now we have to get ready for Nationals!! PK All day


Labette Youth Leadership spent their last meeting of the year touring the Iron Horse Historical Museum with David Mattox as their tour guide!

Looking at the weather forecast for this Saturday evening, the decision has been made to move Prom inside. Prom will be in the gym and walk-in will be outside if it isn't raining. Rain moves walk-in into the auditorium.


Baseball: Chanute plates 8 in the third and 5 in the seventh to beat Parsons 15-3 tonight.
Softball: Chanute wins 17-1 at Forest Park.
