It’s dress rehearsal day! The PHS production of Guys and Dolls will be Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 at the Municipal Auditorium. Come enjoy a great show!

This week, Mrs. Moore was nice enough to give a batch of tomatoes she had to the culinary students! Today, Culinary Apps students made a giant batch of salsa and bruschetta with the tomatoes that Mrs. Moore donated. Thank you Mrs. Moore for the generous donation!

Mrs. Fabrycky's art students have been collaborating with the Parsons Point of Pride committee to help beautify the Parsons downtown by painting over old electrical boxes. Go check out behind Kitchen Pass, and Main Street Skin to see their work!

Do you think the Photo Imaging students are more excited about capturing fall photos or playing at Circle Park? One thing is for sure, kids will be kids!

Last week, during the downpour, Miss Dunlay needed to go to her car. Kyas had an umbrella so he volunteered to walk her to her car so she stayed dry. Awesome job Kyas! #selfiewiththeprincipal

Woods I students are applying their finishes to their first major project. Next project is the Group Project to raffle off to teachers. Go Vikes!

Selfie with Sally! Riley is famous around PHS for her baked goods. She specifically made some diabetic friendly cookies for Ms Clay to enjoy.

1st Scholars Bowl tournament of the season! The students had so much fun!

If you want to win, you’ve got to put in the work. Workman’s Debate class regularly practices, in class and after school.

On Saturday, Ashlyn Hicks and Chassis Baker traveled to Pittsburg High School to compete in the first Dragon bake off. Chassis entered a cake & Ashlyn entered cookies, both girls represented PHS well with their entries. There were lots of entries and both girls received great feedback from the judges.
Chassis won first place in desserts in the high school age division! Way to go Chassis, keep up the hard work!

Some kids knocked over chess pieces in the commons area at lunch yesterday. Mrs Quarton ended up picking them up and Frankie jumped in to help her. We need more good deeds and fewer “not my job” folks in this world! #selfiewiththeprincipal

We had 21 local businesses come talk with our students about careers and opportunities in their fields. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a success!
