Quote from the Grinch, "To kindness & love, the things we need most!" Which is why, Ms. Vincent's 6th grade art students needed some holiday fun and learned how to create their very own Grinch draws. They learn how to draw portraits by focusing on proportions and symmetry in creating their Grinches faces. Along with applying their art knowledge of value scales, shading, color theory, and implied textures they learned at the beginning of the quarter to give their drawings life!
Students have kept Librarian Media Specialist, Mrs. Peak, busy with their 3D print requests. Students were to follow instructions and the 4 criteria to be able to receive their 3D print. At PMS there were 161 requests with 109 items being printed. Students will be allowed another opportunity to fill out the form for another print after our Christmas break. Here are just a few of the so many cool prints!

Students in Computer Applications had fun doing projects with snap circuits. They really enjoyed the snap circuit truck and coding it to follow a specific path!

PMS leadership class visited our 3rd grade buddies in Ms. Pollard's class. We did a fun snowman craft and worked on an acrostic poem! ⛄️
Family fun and laughs made up Parsons Middle School's Family Engagement night, as Mr. and Mrs. Claus, a couple of elves and The Grinch dropped in to add a little extra joyful holiday magic to the evening's events.

Eighth grade students in Shannon Millar's English Language Arts class had some holiday fun putting on a mini play performance of "A Christmas Carol" for a small audience of students and parents Friday. Students brought a few of their own touches to the characters and script, adding some laughs along the way.

Parsons High School and Middle School Orchestras performed their 2025 Holiday Concert before a packed auditorium Wednesday, much to their delight. Monday at 7 p.m. the choirs will wrap up the district's holiday concerts. You can check out other photos of the orchestra on FB.
