
8th graders took a quick trip to Pittsburg to tour the PSU campus!











7th grade students got the opportunity to visit Lincoln to play games with our Little Vikings.







Golf and Track start tomorrow! Athletes just need athletic clothes and tennis shoes.
Athletes must have a physical turned into the office before they can practice.

Scholars Bowl went to Fort Scott, Thursday 3/6 to compete against local schools! Our A team tied for 1st place and ended up with 2nd after the head to head. Congrats PMS Scholars Bowl A Team! Go Vikes 💙


7th and 8th grade orchestra students are spending the day at Pittsburg Middle School making music! Pittsburg, Independence, Fort Scott, Riverton, and Parsons combine their middle school orchestras every spring to make a MASS orchestra 🎶






After learning about the nervous system, 7th graders got to trace themselves and model their own version!





This is National School Social Work Week! Take a minute and thank our wonderful social workers!


Mr. Hutley, and Mr. Campmier's career and technical education pathway students visited the highschool today to tour the CTE pathways offered there. The students were engaged and excited to take the next step on their pathways to a career.






These 7th graders accepted the challenge and were able to place all 50 states on a map!

Today at the Scoreboard Assembly the Scholars Bowl team challenged the teachers to a friendly competition. You can see from the pictures who won. 😉 Congratulations students. In the words of Ms.Handshy, "We taught them well!" PMS really is a great place to be!





The Parsons Middle School Leadership Class ventured to Guthridge this week. The class used their muscle power to assist Mrs. Piva for some spring cleaning and organizing.
