Students MUST be present tomorrow, May 16th, for Awards, Promotion Practice, and Action 8 in order to participate in the Promotion Ceremony tomorrow evening at 6:00pm. The Awards Assembly for GPAs and Class Recognitions will be held at the MS Auditorium beginning at 8:40am tomorrow. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) are welcome to attend, please sit in the back. There will be space reserved in the front center row for pictures during the assembly. At 9:30am the audience will be dismissed off campus, and the students will practice the promotion ceremony correctly three times. Next, at 10:30am students will be transported to Forest Park for Action 8. They will enjoy hotdogs and hamburgers in a picnic style lunch. For desert they will have cupcakes and snow cones available. The splash pad is supposed to be open and students are welcome to bring a blanket to sit on, basketballs, soccer balls, frisbees, etc. Parents and guardians are welcome to begin picking the students up from the park as early as 3:00pm. If the weather is nasty we will keep them on the MS Campus, we have some alternative plans ready. Finally, Promotion will begin at 6:00pm. Please dress semi professionally for promotion (like we did for the Job Fair) no hats, face covers or head covers. Doors will open at 5:50pm. 8th Grade students will NOT be present at school on 5/17.

Congratulations to our Family Engagement winners! These students successfully completed the Middle School Scavenger Hunt, and their names were drawn for prizes. Thank you SparkWheel and Mrs. Hill for continued support, and creating these transition activities for our kids! Two winners aren't pictured because they are in the park with Mrs. Brimm.
