Students from PHS participated in the HOSA Spring Leadership Conference at PSU on Tuesday and Wednesday. Kinsey Baldwin, Brooke Duroni, Jadyn Heck, Mia Hetlinger, Carleigh Valdez, & Brailynn White qualified to attend nationals this summer in Dallas! Way to go, Vikes!

Today Culinary Apps students took their annual trip to Pawhuska, OK. They went to visit the Lodge where the Food Network films the Pioneer Woman show. Students learned about how the show is filmed and how Ree got her start in the culinary industry.

Congratulations to Madelyn Armitage who qualified for the National Tournament in Lincoln/Douglas Debate. All three competitors did well and finished within the Top 4. This is a talented and special group!

Jim Zaleski, Director of Labette Co. Economic Development & Tourism, was a guest speaker in the College & Career Exp. classes today. He discussed topics tied to the Tourism and Hospitality career cluster. Big thanks to him for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit!!
