PHS student kicked off homecoming week with a fun afternoon and evening at the tailgate/bonfire, with seniors winning the tug of war and theme/participation. PJ day kicks off spirit week tomorrow.

Parsons High School Horticulture students attended a fun murder mystery party dressed as fictional characters they had created. They were challenged to research career fields in the horticulture world, create a character based on that job and then write a biography for that character to share at the party.







Parsons alumni Zachary Collins is starring in Neewollah's Beauty and the Beast in Independence October 20-22, 2023.


The annual PHS tailgate/bonfire will be held in the Marvel Park parking lot this Sunday, Oct. 1st, from 3-7:15, with the bonfire being lit around 6:45. The tailgate is for all PHS students, while the bonfire is for everyone. Come out and support the Vikings!





PHS students watched The Complete Works of Shakespeare and then participated in Fine Arts workshops at ICC today.

Senior Night Volleyball is underway against Frontenac. Will play Southeast later this evening.


Yesterday Terrence Talley spoke at a school assembly about love and having each others back! He started the assembly off by having teachers up showing off their dance moves!



Culinary Arts students have been experimenting with Dehydrating and making their own spice blends! Keep an eye out for them to start selling their spice blends in the near future!
