FYI: If a Tornado Warning is issued for Parsons this evening the storm shelters at Garfield and Guthridge will be open, the storm shelter at Lincoln will not be open. If a trusted neighbor in the Lincoln area is interested in volunteering to open the Lincoln storm shelter during future Tornado Warnings, please contact the district office next week.

PHS Math Club took a field trip to SOAR trampoline park in Joplin to celebrate their awesome hard work all year long. What an amazing group of kids.
Madelyn Armitage placed first place at Pitt State math relays in the class four A junior trigonometry test. We are very proud of her hard work and all of her accomplishments.

Juniors completed their job shadowing experience on Wednesday, April 24th. Job shadowing is a new initiative this school year directed by the student's Individual Plan of Study. Many thanks for the gracious businesses and professionals who helped make today a success!

Varsity Softball drops their 2nd game to Iola 9-15. The Varsity will be back in action for a single game against Pittsburg on Thursday.
Varsity Baseball drops their game against Iola 4-11. Varsity will be back in action on Thursday at Pittsburg.
Softball drops their first game to Iola. The second game of the Varsity doubleheader is next.
Varsity Baseball and Softball are both in action today in Iola. Currently Baseball is down 1-2 and Softball down 0-4. Both games are in the 2nd inning.
PHS National Honor Society members volunteered their time for community service Tuesday. Students cleaned trash from roadsides, loaded food in boxes for LAC commodity distribution, helped dust, wash windows and pick up trash at PHS, and helped prep for a Katy Golf tourney.
