We made edible cookie color wheels today to get ready for mixing paints next week. The kids had a great time and each child had their own part of the wheel that they were in charge of in their groups and their own supplies to keep them safe from COVID. :)

In English class this week, students were given an assignment that consisted of a list of questions that reviewed literary terms and figurative language. Each answer then determined what color you were to fill in a section of the mandala. Correct answers led to a beautiful overall pattern. This was a fun, and visual, way to start off with a review of terms where students could work collaboratively on the questions, but then finish the artwork independently.
