Some kids knocked over chess pieces in the commons area at lunch yesterday. Mrs Quarton ended up picking them up and Frankie jumped in to help her. We need more good deeds and fewer “not my job” folks in this world! #selfiewiththeprincipal


We had 21 local businesses come talk with our students about careers and opportunities in their fields. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a success!





Congrats to Aidan Wheat (1st team), Mason West (2nd team), and Antonio Aita (2nd team) on their selection to the SEK All-League Soccer Team. These are the first All-League selections in the program's short history. Congrats and Go Vikes!




Parsons High School presents: "Guys and Dolls" on Nov. 11 and 12 at 7:00 each night at the Municipal Auditorium. Tickets are general admission and may be purchased at the door.


PHS Seniors Kamryn Keathley & Jonah Harris have been selected in the first round for the Heisman Scholarship in the southwest region. They will move on to the state round to be considered for a $1000 scholarship. Please help us in congratulating them! Go Vikes!

This morning PHS juniors and seniors traveled to Labette Community College to speak with college representatives from the area. Special thanks to LCC for hosting the event and helping connect our students to options for after high school graduation!

PHS students who came in costume last Friday to celebrate spooky season gained their class Outstanding Class (OC) points. Some of the teachers even got in on the fun! Special thanks to Mr. Rea’s class for the face painting!
