Mrs Fabrycky's ceramics classes are putting the final touches on their face mug unit. The students learned about the tradition of the slaves who made face jugs, and the significance of the jugs in their culture.

The PHS boys and girls basketball teams will be hosting first round sub-state games this week. This is a KSHSAA post-season event so there will be no passes accepted. Admission into the games is $8 for adults and $6 for students K-12.
Tuesday: PHS Boys host Topeka-Hayden. Game time 6:00 PM
Wednesday: PHS Girls host Holton. Game time 6:00 PM
The boys final will be played on Friday TBA and the girls on Saturday TBA. Times and sites are determined after the first round games.

The Lady Vikes finish the season with a record of 14-6 and the #5 seed in the East. The boys finish 11-9 and the #8 seed in the East. Both teams battled through adversity tonight to win. Go Vikes!!

The Vikes with a big win over Chanute 54-51! This means the boys and girls will both host a first round sub-state game next week. Boys on Tuesday and girls on Wednesday. Pretty sure both games will start at 6:00 on this nights. More info tomorrow. Go Vikes!!
