Big Hill CC was a success today. Thanks to the Army Corps of Engineers, HC Sally Clay, Brett Baldwin. Carl V., Mike Kastle, and our own Viking cheerleaders for helping out today. Kinsey Baldwin with a great race finished second! Go Vikes!




While Culinary Arts students waited on their pizza dough to rise, students Aashka Patel & Sydney Schibi offered to make caprese skewers with balsamic glaze drizzle as a quick snack for their classmates!

Another successful home XC meet at Big Hill is done!K. Baldwin placed 2nd in girls’ varsity.M. Drummond finished the course in 29:15.D. Clark shaved nearly 8 minutes off his previous 5K time.M. Rodriquez finished the toughest course in SEK!Thanks to the cheerleaders for helping!

FCCLA hosted the third annual Club Fair today! The club fair gives students a chance to see and learn more about all the clubs PHS has to offer!





Culinary Arts spent the last two days making pizza! Students created their pizzas using homemade dough and making their own pizza sauce!





Viking Media participated in the Jostens’ Fall Yearbook Workshop today. It was a beautiful day at Pittsburg State University Go VIKES!

Great ideas happen in a sea of talk. Pre-Comp students are editing each other’s paper and then having a conference. This is a great group of young people.


We had a great visit from Wichita State University today! Thanks to Marissa for making the trip to Parsons.
Seniors also heard from guest speaker, Brandi McCall with LCC Financial Aid, about the Kansas Promise Scholarship. (Not pictured)



The Parsons Vikings hosted their home girls golf tournament today at the Katy Golf course. Junior Madison Shepard ending in 15th place with a 58. Freshman Linnea King made her varsity debut with an 84. Independence took 1st place as a team and individually.
