Baseball games have been cancelled for today (4/24) in Coffeyville.
Viking Track traveled to Columbus on Tuesday and had a good day!
The boys team finished in 3rd and the girls finished in 5th.
Jason Smart placed 2nd in the 100m and 3rd in the 200m.
Colten Carson won the 3200m and placed 3rd in the 1600m.
Brelin Summers won the 300m hurdles, and also placed 2nd in the 110m high hurdles and high jump!
On the girls side, Ayanna Robertson placed 2nd in the 200m, as well as high jump.
MaKayla Farrow-Getman placed 3rd in the 400m.
Both Boys and Girls 4x1s placed 2nd place! They were a team of Ridgeway, Summers, Hagood, Smart, and Wyatt, Farrow-Getman, Shultz, Robertson on the girls side!
Viking Coalition visited Tanganyika Wildlife Park and had a wonderful time getting up close and personal

National Honor Society will be set up at Better Life Nutrition this Saturday, April 26th from 8:00am - noon to fundraise to offset cost for their national affiliate dues and annual senior scholarship. Come out and support the club!

Last week FCCLA STAR event qualifiers attended state competition in Wichita.
We are excited to announce we have students headed to Nationals in Orlando this summer!
Receiving first place in the state and top gold is Shea Clark for her presentation and project in Repurpose and Redesign.
Also receiving first place in the state and top gold is Ava Meyer, Addy Hetlinger and Heidi Shultz for their project and presentation in Food Innovations!
Chassis Baker and Kadence Ball also competed in Chapter Service Project Display and placed third in the state with a good rating of 94.66 and are consolation national qualifiers!
While we are still waiting on results for some students in other events, we are excited to be representing Parsons at Nationals again this year!
