This week we have been learning about two of the syllable types. Students sorted real words and nonsense into two categories. Learning these syllable patterns helps students learn to decode unfamiliar words. They did a great job!

One of our first stories in our new reading series is Clark the Shark. The students took turns reading pages out loud to the class using a microphone. They are working to learn classroom procedures and did a great job showing respect for the person reading.

Early Dismissal on Thursday, September 4th at Noon.
